Ramsey is a 2 year old Labrador Cross in need of a very specific and special home. Ramsey is experiencing a huge amount of anxiety when meeting other dogs so of course a Dog Shelter is really the worst place for him. He is the friendliest dog you could meet, is playful and good with all humans but is just finding it difficult to deal with meeting dogs. His happy and safe place is our shelter kitchen where he sleeps at night on a sofa! Ramsey needs a home in the countryside where his daily walks will not involve encountering dogs. He needs a patient and competent owner who can teach him how to overcome this fear. He will pull hard on his lead when he gets agitated so he needs a strong adult handler and currently is definitely not suited to being led by children/youths. Ramsey is receiving ongoing help at our Shelter from a professional but this training will need to continue in his new home. He really is a gorgeous dog and deserves a wonderful home.
